What the GUYS say THEY want for Valentine's Day (cause it's not always about us)

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and believe it or not ladies, it's not all about us.  I know, I know...whose side am I on anyways right?  I'm on yours which is why I asked a few guys what they are looking for for Valentine's and am going to give you an inside scoop on 6 items they said they would love to receive! 

A massage appointment

Yep, a nice rub down.  Our guys want relaxation just as much as we do ladies.  While your average spa don't mind servicing men our guys don't want to be mixed in with us, LOL so find a men's spa and make his reservation.  DC has a really nice spot that I sent my hubby to.  It's called the Grooming Lounge.  It's a man's "lounge" that has services like the "Hot Lather Shave" and the "Super Stoner Massage".  They also have full packages.  One of the most impressive is their "Congressman" which includes a hot lather shave, massage, business manicure and foot treatment.  A simple google search should give you a few options.  Ask if you can prepay for the service and slip some cash in his pocket for the tip.

Cologne

This is the gift that keeps on giving.  Yes, it's for him but you're the one who gets to enjoy the fragrance of your man while he's wearing it. If he already wears cologne simply snoop and see which one is running low and buy that one.  If you aren't sure what to get Sephora has this great cologne sampler.  It's called The Leading Man Fragrance Sampler.  He can try each cologne and once he decides which one he likes the most there is a voucher that you turn in for a full size bottle.  This gift is sure to have him feeling and smelling nice. 

Jewelry

Yes.  Jewelry.  This one didn't even cross my mind. When I think of jewelry for Valentine's Day I immediately think of diamond rings or gold necklaces. For females of course.  But some guys like jewelry as well.  A nice bracelet or watch would definitely bring a smile to your guy's face.  Macy's and Nordstrom's always have good sales on Jewelry.  Check your sales papers and see who can give you the best deal.

Nice wallet

Most guys own a wallet and no they aren't all that huge on changing wallets like we do our purses but who says they wouldn't like options.  So if your man carries a black wallet go get hims nice brown one.  If he carries a sporty one grab him a nicer one to take on those fancy dates.  I'm not saying give him an alligator wallet but hook him up.

Nice socks

Socks used to get a bad wrap as a gift for men.  But that was back when you only had two options..black or brown.  Socks have come a long way.  They are fun, exciting and are made with a lot more swag than in the past.  So getting socks for Mr. man is a great move.  Now I'm not talking a pack of socks from Walmart.  Really nice ones like the ones you find on Nice Laundry  Nice Laundry has fun socks, colorful socks, athletic socks and more.  If you are looking for nicer, more reserved socks you can visit Nordstrom.com and browse their variety.  Make sure you get a pair that reflects his personality (but also don't make socks the only thing you get him).

A Ticket to the Game...Duh!

Send him to a professional game of his choice.  Not one that you don't mind sitting through (remember this is for him).  As a matter of fact, if you can afford it buy two tickets of that he can take a friend with him.  Stub Hub is a great place to find good deals.  Here are a few All Star Week events to look into if Basketball is his thing.  A few other ideas are an NBA League Pass or NFL Game Pass.  Pay for the sports cable package if they don't already have it.  Maybe even get season tickets if they are a super fan!
